Q: What are the minimum requirements for a loan?

Must have the following items:

1. You must be at least 18 years of age
2. You need to have an open bank account in your name
3. You must have a working email address and phone number
4. You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
5. You must not be active military
6. You must receive regular income
7. You must not be in open bankruptcy
8. Income must be direct deposited into your bank account

To be approved for a loan you need to meet the minimum requirements. We will evaluate your application and determine whether you are eligible for a loan.

Q: How do I receive my funds?

The funds are electronically deposited into your bank account.

Q: What hours is your service available?

We accept and process applications 24 hours a day, every day of the year. However, once your application is submitted it may require additional verification which can only be done during normal business hours. Please keep in mind that we can only electronically deposit money to your bank account on days when your bank is open.

Q: How much money do I qualify for?

4Ward Funds can help you get up to $1,500 based on the information that you provide to us on our quick and easy loan application. We may offer you a smaller loan until you establish a payment history with us.

Q: What if I only have a savings account?

Funds are restricted to checking accounts only.

Q: How much will the loan cost?

The cost of the loan and the APR depends on your application. The terms are disclosed in the application process when you are directed to our website. At this point you have NOT accepted the loan. If, when the terms are disclosed, they are not acceptable to you, do not sign the agreement.

Q: How can I save money on my loan?

The best way to minimize the cost of your loan is to pay the loan off early. You can pay more than scheduled amount, make extra payments, or pay the balance in full as soon as you are able.

How does the application process work?

The process is 100% online — no paperwork, no waiting rooms. Our streamlined application is designed to meet tribal regulatory requirements while staying fast and easy. Most people complete it in just a few minutes.

Am I eligible for a loan?

To qualify, you must:

  • Be of legal age to enter into a contract
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Have a valid checking account
  • Show a steady income source
  • Provide a valid mobile number and email address
What if I’m on government benefits?

As long as you can show consistent income, you may still qualify.

Are there credit checks?

Yes, we may perform soft credit checks using national databases. A less-than-perfect credit history won't automatically disqualify you.

What do I need to provide?

You’ll need:

  • A working mobile number
  • Bank account info
  • Access to online banking
Why do you ask for my online banking credentials?

Whether you applied directly with 4Ward Funds or were redirected here from another lender, we request your online banking login to securely verify your bank account and confirm your income. This allows us to make responsible lending decisions, prevent over-borrowing, and give you a faster decision. Your banking information is accessed in read-only mode through a secure, encrypted connection. We cannot make any changes to your account, and your login credentials are never stored.

Who sees my banking credentials?

No one — not even us. Your login information is encrypted and securely transmitted to trusted third-party platforms like Edge Score, Plaid, or MX which only accesses your account in read-only mode. We can view your banking data to verify your account, but we can’t make changes or access your credentials.

How is that information used?

Your bank data is used to verify your income, confirm your account status, and assess your ability to repay. Your login credentials are never stored. Account data is accessed securely in read-only mode and used only to process your application and manage your account.

Will my bank be okay with this?

It’s best to review your bank's T&Cs. That said, your data is encrypted in transit, and we only access it on a read-only basis with no control over your funds.

How long does it take to apply?

Just a few minutes. Most applicants receive a decision within an hour on business days.

Can I apply over the phone?

I’ve been approved — when do I get my money?

We’ll send your funds via ACH. If approved before 11:30 AM PT on a business day, you’ll usually receive them the same day. Otherwise, by the next business day.

What is the Military Lending Act?

Due to the federal Military Lending Act, we cannot lend to "Covered Borrowers," including active-duty service members, their spouses, or dependents. You must confirm you are not covered under this Act to qualify.

What if I can’t pay on time?

Contact us immediately. We may be able to set up an alternate payment plan to help you avoid fees.

When do payments come out of my account?

Payments are typically debited from your account on the morning of your scheduled due date, depending on your bank’s processing times. In some cases, if there’s an issue with your bank or insufficient funds, the debit may occur a few days later.

How can I repay?

Payments can be made via:

  • ACH
  • Debit card
  • Electronic Check
Can I repay early?

Absolutely! No prepayment penalties. In fact, early repayment could mean a reduced payoff amount.

Can I borrow again?

Yes, after repaying your existing loan. Returning customers may qualify for larger amounts, lower rates and longer terms — up to $1,500.
